What should I do if my FTP client times-out during upload?

Ordinarily, a timeout is dependent on your connection to the internet. How are you connecting to the net? Try to FTP your files to our servers using an alternate connection, dialup provider, or ISP.

Sometimes with a cable modem, you will need to "clear your history" and "delete temporary internet files" using IE browser or your connection to the net will slow. Please consult with your ISP for more details.

Another alternative is to log in to your hosting accounts' control panel (i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel). Once logged in select "File Manager". There you can select the folder you wish to upload to, then select the link "Upload File". Then simply click the browse to the file you need to upload, then click the "Upload" button.
